If I have used wubi-installer?

Like how do I access my music, and microsoft office ad all that that I have on XP from Ubuntu?

I want to kow whether i can have Ubuntu run on vmware while windows is running which has a dual boot Ubuntu?

I asked yesterday how to update the Linux kernel, and I forgot to mention that I do not have Internet access in Ubuntu because of my computer’s Ethernet card not working. I have downloaded on another computer and placed on my computer’s Ubuntu the new Linux kernel files. I just need to install them without using an Internet connection. How can I do this if I have the files in my home directory?

Also are there multiple desktop environments for windows like there are for Linux systems?

I tried to put ubuntu on a pendrive and it did not work out well. Now, when I plug in the usb device, it shows as two devices and it has a file that I can’t delete. How do I combine the two partitions and format the thumb drive through Ubuntu 7.10

I burnt the disc with nero software. When I try to boot from the disc it downloads the drivers for the hardware.Then this comes up[DR-DOS]A:\> What should I do next?

i want to install either kubuntu or ubuntu but i dont want to mess with xp incase i need it still. how do you partition the drive to have both OS’s?

I have a dual boot and in ubuntu…I can see the drive for XP. It has all the XP files in it. Can viruses get onto that from ubuntu?

Also, by default, I have two partitions on my hard drive – one 30GB that I keep Windows XP Professional, and another unused 160GB one. When I install Ubuntu, will it give me an option to make and choose a partition of a Windows partition?

In other words – when making a partition, will Ubuntu recognize and let me choose Windows partitions?

Right now its Evolution but i want to swith to thunderbird and don’t know how :(
