I have just installed Ubuntu 8.04 LTS (Alpha 4), which is very stable,apart from it comes with Firefox 3 (Beta 3) included as default and is unstable.

What I want to do is replace it with Firefox 2, how can I do this and what order should I do it in.

Step by step if possible please, its the only weakness the rest of it is pukka.

I get a message from my MONITOR, the same type as if you were to press the monitor’s menu button, that says “out off range?” I can log into ubuntu just fine, i have no trouble there but this monitor problem happens just after the Winxp progress bar finishes loading, it should go to login but instead the screen goes blank and says “Out off range.” The monitor is a Compaq MV720.
