I have a dual boot and in ubuntu…I can see the drive for XP. It has all the XP files in it. Can viruses get onto that from ubuntu?

i want to get my tv working in ubuntu. is this possible ?

I have a dual boot with XP Pro and Ubuntu on the C drive of my desktop. I was wondering if defragmenting this drive could harm the dual boot in any way???

I installed Ubuntu recently but it wasn’t compatible with certain programs that I needed. I popped in a Vista CD but it didn’t work, how do I switch back, what steps should be taken first?

I have a microsoft mouse bluetooth, but the bluetooth in ubuntu won’t connect to it, would i need to download a driver or
something? Also, the connections available only says modem or wired connection in my network. I need to access my wireless router, but don’t see the option for it. Would i have to download something as well?

Also, by default, I have two partitions on my hard drive – one 30GB that I keep Windows XP Professional, and another unused 160GB one. When I install Ubuntu, will it give me an option to make and choose a partition of a Windows partition?

In other words – when making a partition, will Ubuntu recognize and let me choose Windows partitions?

Right now its Evolution but i want to swith to thunderbird and don’t know how :(
