I have broadband and can access the internet with Windows XP…When I boot using the Ubuntu CD, I cannot access the internet. I need help to configure the internet connection.
I think I spelled it right. I see Acer is offering it with a new note book line.

Ok i need some serious help here. My laptop, as of right now, has Ubuntu as its OS. I came across an unused Windows XP Pro CD and want to install it. I booted to the CD and tried to install it, but it crashes. I searched some forums and from what i gather i have to delete the Linux partitions before i can install Windows XP. Thats where i get stuck. How do i delete the linux partitions? I have the Ubuntu cd if that helps. Thanks for all help!
i cant find where to do it at all, i use to have windows and the sound drivers wouldnt work on their either, is there anyone that can help me with this? i need to know how to get sound on Ubuntu.

I have the Ubuntu install disk and can install it replacing windows XP. However I do not know how to make the connection with DSL or know if there are any compatiblity issues. And if not what is the process I would have to go through to be able to use ATT’s DSL service?

I’ve made a really STUPID mistake and installed the latest ubuntu server onto my vista laptop instead of installing the desktop version 8.04. How can I remove it – plz help?!
