I have the wireless dongle up but how do I connect?

When i got to system>admin>users and groups i am not allowed to add a new user, the buttons are greyed out.

Do i need to be logged in as root to add a new user?

I updated my ps3 to 1.80 firmware and now it gives me the option to search for media servers. How do I set up ubuntu to share folders/media with my ps3 on my home network?
I setup the samba share but the ps3 still says it cant detect a media server.

I’ve researched the live cd and it seems safe, but would it, by any chance, accidently overwrite my current Operating System while i’m trying Ubuntu out? Because I was planning to use Wubi later on to dual boot, but that’s anyother story.

So is it safe? I know it’s an odd question, but I want to know.

My son-in-law thinks Ubuntu would be better for web pages and design, but I have to keep Windows XP 2003 for my online school. Of course, I also have customized links, favorites, etc.

What can you do when Ubuntu is installed on your PS3 that you couldn’t do before? Can you do anything you like on the net? (firefox) etc

I saw a tutorial on how to use vmware with an iso but I want to use a physical partition. I have seen how to run an XP partition from Linux but not the opposite.

I finally got Ubuntu to load but it claims that it was not unmounted properly and runs fsck at which point it randomly crashes leaving me to run fsck. I type fsck and it tells me that fsck is not installed use apt-get install fsck, I try that and it tells me that apt-get is not installed use apt-get apt to install.

PS grub is installed on Ubuntu partition.

So if anyone knows how to fix this please and thank you.

I have a question, i tried to install 2moons onto linux with wine, everything worked untill the end, nothing installed. Is there some other software or a way i have to run it through terminal to make it work?

I have windows Vista. However, I have a partition with Linux ubuntu on it. I want to download celebrity sex tapes, just for fun! I’m a girl, so obviously I am not going to jack off to them! But I wanna know if I used limewire on ubuntu, and it was a virus made for windows, would it harm my computer, if I was using the Linux OS?
